MOSCOW – Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has announced Belarus would be willing to build a second nuclear power plant (NPP) – in addition to the site Russia’s Rosatom is already building in that country. The announcement came, controversially enough, on the day when Belarus and the rest of the world commemorated the victims of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster of April 26, 1986.
